OUR STORY
When Jackie Pang became quiet, withdrawn, “just not herself,” we thought it might be related to stress or depression. With no family history of dementia, her February 2017 diagnosis of Behavioral Variant Frontotemporal Degeneration (FTD), came as a complete shock. Jackie was 60 years old when she received her FTD diagnosis and her 22-year career as a kindergarten teacher was brought to an unexpected early end. Jackie passed away at home on April 24, 2020. Our family immediately created The Jackie Pang Fund, a certified 501c3 non-profit organization, in her honor and memory.

Jackie loved books and loved reading to her students. In her name, The Jackie Pang Fund has launched a Library Builder Project. 10 books per year will be donated to each of the South Brunswick Township Schools. That's 100 books in memory of our Jackie!
